This is by far the best book that I have ever read, in regards to assimilation.
Searcy’s book is a must esarcy and will provide a much needed template and process for effectively assimilating and connecting people within your church. Engaging, informative and immediately applicable, here is help for setting newcomers on the path toward true life transformation and spiritual maturity. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Based on Searcy’s own church, The Journey, in Manhattan, the assimilation process can be a great starting point for other churches.

But, a large portion of this book read like an advertisement for Searcy’s other books, DVD’s and instructional tools.

The reason it got two stars and not one is because it does have decent examples of how that can be done, even if it takes 20 Unfortunately, this book is more of the same for leaders of a church. There is some practical advice here about moving people from visitor to participant and full member. This book is not yet featured on Nelzon. Nelson gives fussion a system to make guests feel accepted and a system of follow up to help them know we care for them.
